EPL’s submission to the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee

On November 19th EPL submitted to the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee its Assessment on Fulfillment by Ukraine of its obligations under the Convention. Pursuant to the Decision of the Third Meeting of the Parties the Government of Ukraine is obliged to report to the Compliance Committee on its progress in fulfillment of Decision III\6f as well as funding and recommendations of the Committee aimed to bring Ukraine in compliance with the Convention. EPL considers measures taken by Ukraine inadequate and thus provided the Committee with its information proving failure of Ukraine to meet its obligations.
