EPL has been awarded core support from Sigrid Rausing Trust for the period from 1 October 2026 till 30 September 2027.
The project aims to implement the following goals:
1) To improve Ukrainian environmental policy and legislation promoting establishment of a new and effective environmental governance system in Ukraine.
2) To ensure justice for war-driven environmental crimes.
3) To decrease corruption risks in the use of natural resources.
4) To strengthen Ukrainian civil society to be an active and effective player in the processes of protecting environmental rights of citizens, public participation in environmental decision-making and post-war green recovery of the country.
5) To improve access to justice in environmental matters in Ukraine.
6) To develop environmental awareness and education as a precondition of any progress in the environmental protection area.
