On 22-23 October, International charitable organization “Environment-People-Law” (EPL) and “Ekomah” NGO ( Luhansk) organize volunteers to visit the regional landscape park (RLP) “Kramatorskyi” (Donetsk region).
RLP “Kramatorsky” is located in the liberated territory and needs our help. Before the ATO started, the premises of the Visitors’ center in the park were renovated. However, since the war started and even now after liberation of Kramatorsk there is very little funding allocated in the budget of Donetsk region for the RLP and in fact it lost all support. Nevertheless, this did not make it less attractive and it is one of the most interesting natural places in eastern Ukraine.
“Ekomah” NGO that is temporarily displaced from occupied Luhansk, found a way to help the RLP to restore the Visitors’ center in the park. We can personally contribute to the renovation process and also visit the RLP.
During the visit we plan:
– to study better the regional landscape park “Kramatorskyi”;
– to help to renovate the Visitors’ center;
– to install protective signs in the territory of the park;
– to conduct a discussion about the environmental consequences of military operations in eastern Ukraine
Planned beginning of the event – 12.00 on 22/10/2016 (the time is subject to change the day before departure).

Departure from Kyiv is planned for 21 October evening. Returning to Kyiv – in the morning of 24 October. You can get to the point of departure together with other participants from Kyiv or Kharkiv. It’s better if we buy tickets for neighboring seats.
Accommodation – in your sleeping bag and on a sleeping pad together with other participants in the Visitors’ center.
Food is at your own expense. Specific proposals for centralized menu for food to be cooked for everyone will be discussed on the way to Kramatorsk.
