How can we find our own Ukrainian way of animal-raising development so that we are respected on the international markets? What should be changed immediately? What can local communities achieve? What support do reformers of agricultural sector need? Participants of the forum will jointly seek answers to these questions.
The forum will be a platform for discussion of these issues. We invite to discussion representatives of public authorities and international technical assistance projects, scientists, owners of large animal-raising businesses and small farmers, professionals and innovators in the field of energy and resource saving technologies. Together with representatives of local communities and civil society activists we will seek answers to problematic questions.
The forum aims to develop specific recommendations and provide the tools for implementation of real changes for the development of environmentally responsible animal-raising industry in Ukraine.
The forum is organized by International charitable organization “Environment-People-Law”, International charitable organization “Information Center” Green Dossier “and “Bureau of Environmental Investigations” NGO at financial support of the Embassy of Sweden to Ukraine.
