EPL ecologists and volunteers continue information search regarding the areas of nature and reserve fund that were cancelled in the regions for different reasons. The next part of the research is Khmelnytsk region.

We continue to release the results of the study of the lost areas of nature and reserve fund conducted by ecologists and volunteers of the ICO «Еnvironment-People-Law». The third part of the research is about Chernivtsi region.

Last year lawyers and environmentalists of EPL conducted a study of environmental consequences of military actions in Donbas. Representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation presented these studies as their own achievements.

On 24 February 2016, Lviv Circuit Administrative Court adopted a decision in EPL’s case against Mykolayiv regional administration of water resources and found unlawful refusal of the administration to provide EPL with information contained in water report (2-tp) as confidential information, and in this way confirmed openness of this information.

On 26 February 2016, the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine held the meeting on expansion of the Holosiyivskyi national natural park in Kyiv and creation of a new national natural park on the southern outskirts of Kyiv.

On 24 February, Environmental Commission of Kyiv municipality considered the issue of setting protective zones around the territory of the National natural park “Holosiyivskyi”.

We continue releasing results of studies of lost territories of protected areas conducted by environmentalists and volunteers of International charitable organization “Environment-People-Law”. The second part of the studies is about Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Can we avoid problems in administering city space instead of heroic overcoming them?
