The compendium continues the sequel of publications aimed to help everyone who cares about biodiversity preservation in Ukraine through creation and protection of territories and objects of nature reserve fund. The compendium has practical focus and consists of a theoretical and practical part, contains analysis of legal acts and plans of protected areas management in the EU, the USA and Canada.Many proposals and recommendations are based on foreign experience. Special attention is paid to the issues of nature reserves operation, legal status of lands of protected areas and strengthening of responsibility for violation of legislation on protection of nature reserves.
