On February 27, 2019, Tlumach region court of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast ruled in favor of local resident fighting against next Danosha pig farm in Grushka village, Tlumach region. The court agreed that the decision to allocate 5,5 ha of land (pasture) into lease for a pig farm construction was illegal and declared void the Order of the Department of State Geocadaster in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast № 9-485/15-15-СГ dated 07.08.2015 «On approval of land management documentation and allocated of land plot», and land lease agreement dated 11.08.2015 and concluded between farmer Hordijchuk and Department of State Geocadaster in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast.

It is worth mentioning that 7 pig farms of “Danosha” are operating in Ivano-Frankivsk region and local populations is very critical towards this Danish investor, thus the latter decided to obtain a new land plot via a “paper” farmer.
Court proceedings in present case in administrative courts started in 2016, but the position of Supreme Court of Ukraine stated that such cases could not be considered by the administrative courts. Thus, the case was reconsidered again by the court of general jurisdiction.
