Cadogan Petroleum PLC has invested $500 million dollars in hydrocarbon exploration and production in Ukraine and will invest hundreds of millions of dollars more after 2012, Cadogan CEO Bertrand Des Pallieres said in an interview with Kommentarii.
“We have already invested $500 million and are now carrying out a program worth 130 million more. We need to move now from exploration to investment in production — beginning in 2013 we will invest from $200-500 million in producing traditional gas”, he said.
Des Pallieres added that should exploration be successful, the company may seek additional licences.
