We are EPL! We do care about the environment!
We are not indifferent to the present and the future of our children. In the world with places where sunrises and sunsets can be observed only on TV screens due to the catastrophic level of the smog, where dozens of species die as a result of functioning of unscrupulous corporations, where the enormous water pollution occurs because of the garbage islands in the ocean, and the environmental harmony collapses, we do everything what depends on us:
- improve Ukrainian legislation in the field of the environment protection;
- raise initiators of the progressive changes – environmental lawyers;
- defend environmental rights of people on the nationwide and regional levels;
- provide legal assistance to people whose environmental rights were violated;
- do active awareness raising among the population;
- evolve progressive views on the court proceeding among judges and lawyers;
- organize international meetings aimed to contribute to global environmental protection;
- protect the nature from feckless intervention of the industrial sector.
Our team is the group of environmental lawyers, journalists, linguists and civil activists who stand up for the environment and environmental rights of people using legal instruments.
Personal values of each member of our team are crucial for overal development of EPL and create non-variable postulates of our organization.
EPL’s values:
• Every person has the right to a clean and safe environment.

• Environmental safety is part of national security. Therefore, being a patriot of Ukraine requires that citizens contribute to environment conservation.

• A strong civil society in Ukraine is a prerequisite for effective environmental protection.
• Environmental protection is an area where democracy is tested. To be effective in environmental protection we must also promote the overall democratization of Ukrainian society.

• Each memeber of the oranization is responsible for rising a new generation of environmental lawyers, іn addition each memeber of EPL is responsible for the development of professional skills and moral values within the organization.
