The objectives of the educational activities of our organization a
- to increase the level of environmental and legal culture and education of the citizens of Ukraine,
- to raise the level of environmental law consciousness and skills of lawyers, representatives of the public organizations, officials of the governmental authorities;
- to raise a new generation of environmental lawyers through the practical education in order to raise the level of professionalism in the protection of environmental public interest, and to extend their possibilities to obtain the environmental law education;
- to support, encourage and inspire the young people to obtain the environmental legal education;
- to develop the environmental law education and raise its quality;
- to establish useful relations with other countries in order to integrate the national and international environmental law science and education.
Educational activities of EPL include:
- Environmental education:
- organization and activity of the environmental law clinic;
- organization and participation of the environmental law conferences, workshops, meetings, round tables, etc.
- organization and holding of internship, educational practice
- Environmental law research.
- Participation in the law drafting.
To raise a new generation of lawyers, EPL actively involves students from the Law Faculty of the Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko and the Law College of this University. We teach students within our environmental law clinic.One of the promising directions of the educational activities is organizing and running the internship program. It includes information about the main directions of the EPL activities, giving the legal help, teaching of the experience on the work on environmental cases and its strategy and planning.
During the internship program we determine the environmental problems, ways of its solutions with legal means, develop the plan of the further activities of intern and use of obtained knowledge.
