Atmospheric air is one of the most important natural resources and absolutely indispensible for life.
Therefore it is vitally important to act to save, improve, and restore atmospheric air and to prevent and diminish air pollution and the impact of chemical, physical, and biological factors on air quality by controling norms for air quality, maximum air pollution levels from stationary sources, maximum impacts from stationary sources, fuel quality, and impacts from mobile sources, among other things.
EPL
- addresses atmospheric air quality issues, especially compliance with emission quality standards by pollution sources.
- prevents extreme air pollution during planning of territories and construction works;
- protects citizens’ rights to healthy environment and clean air in particular;
- improves air protection legislation.
